About Lala Paints

I love painting furry things - giving personality to things we don't understand, or capturing the mystery and curiosity of our favorite animals. My affinity for painting birds cannot be explained. Perhaps I was a bird in a former life. I believe "big eyes' are fun, and love the works of Margaret Keane, Glenn Heath and others.

I paint for fun, and put this site together as a digital "fridge" for my friends and family.

I work mostly with acrylic paints, but also enjoy drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastels.
